SPF Friday!

This weeks SPF is sort of based on Auschwitz.

1. Your suitcase/s or travel bag. - This is my daily process when I come home from work...I dump my three bags at my desk. BUT, now that school is out they are hanging up nicely! :)

2. Your ground. - These are our new wood floors! :)

3. Something you are powerless to. - I did two for this one. One is my desk at school....the kids are always putting stuff everywhere on it and it is a constant mess. The other is a picture of grass in the backyard that grows like crazy. :)

The desk was taken w/ my new lens! :) 50 mm f1.8 woot!

Ouch

I smashed my finger in the sliding glass door. It always take a really good pull to shut it, but it slid REALLY easy for some reason and then my hand slipped.

I honestly thought my finger was chopped off it hurt so bad. It squished it diagonally...so, it made contact w/ as much skin as possible. Ouch. It is swollen and hurts when I touch it.

Woot! NO MORE STUDENTS!!!!!!!!

Wednesday was the last day of school w/ kids! Yippee!!!

Today and tomorrow we have 'teacher work days'....which AFTER school is out equals 'do my master's class homework days' for me. lol

I got all my research done today for my papers for the summer and got a TON of stuff done! lol

Oh, shhhhh, and then I left early! :)

I love coupons!

But....I hate when the cashiers get mad at me. There is NO reason to get mad....geesh.

I always hate that part when I have a ton of coupons....I never know if the cashier is going to be cool or be rude. Well, two times in a row now at the same store, she got pissed.

She got mad about some buy one get one free things on packs of gum. Now, that said...yes, those are annoying, BUT, I put out the coupons first directly next to the gum and stated that they were buy one get one and she could get the price. Well, she didn't listen.

So, by the time she got done scanning everything there were four people in line behind me and then she got mad about the coupons.

I always feel bad for the people behind me. The lady behind me today was awesome though. She came up and said, "I am so proud of you. You don't normally see people your age using coupons. You did a GREAT job and you will retire early someday b/c of your spending habits."

lol, so, she made me feel better. :)

But, can you answer the question...why do they hate coupons??? I just don't get it. ick

SPF again :)

I went boating this weekend, so most of these pictures were taken during that time. :)

1. Something Discarded - My something discarded is a fishing lure stuffed in between the pieces of wood on the dock. I just thought it was interesting b/c it has a huge hook in it, but it is far enough in that it won't get your foot. :)

2. Lay down on the ground and find something ugly and make it beautiful. - I have two things for this.

The first thing is a piece of wood w/ barnacles on it.....I'm not sure if it is beautiful now...but I tried! :)

The second is an icky snail. It was squishing across our sidewalk and I just HAD to get a picture! I had never seen a snail this big AND out of a fishtank....AND....I couldn't get too close to it b/c I was scared. :) lol

3. Take a picture in the style of the person that inspires you. - This picture was taken while thinking about my mom. My mom LOVES the beach and everything related to warm and yummy weather. :) When we went boating DOLPHINS swam up next to us. I was AMAZED! I had only seen dolphins at Sea World! So, the picture isn't the best b/c they only came up for a brief second, but HOW COOL?! (Oh, and to make you laugh I was freaked out at first b/c I thought it was a shark fin! lol)

I like nature...but not enough to sleep in it.

I had a list of 'to do' blog things and just found it.

So, we were talking about going camping and how I was pretty excited about it. It just turned her off 100%. I just love that quote. haha

Well, today is Thursday, so my house is spotless....

SHE MADE US DINNER AND DESSERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How cool is that?! She knew that my classes started yesterday and noticed that we are in great need of groceries, so she put together a meal in the crockpot! Then, she made little pudding things for dessert.

I love her! lol, I called and told her that I was going to kidnap her away from her family. :)

Can they make an airsent of CLEANING SUPPLIES?

Ok...so, admit it...that clean smell just makes you think everything is cleaner.

My cleaning lady came today and I just love her. That clean smell...yum...
